The objective is to promote actions in favor of improving the environment and local entities can participate until March 21
The Vega Baja Sostenible Consortium informs about the 2019 waste aids that the Ministry for Ecological Transition has published and whose bases can be consulted on its web page or on that of the Consortium itself. This aid is intended for local entities that promote projects for domestic and community composting, separate collection of bio-waste and composting facilities. Also those projects of separate collection of used cooking oil or biogas projects. The deadline for requesting aid is until March 21.
With this aid, the implementation of innovative projects by local entities that are still far from reaching the community objectives is promoted. The aid is financed through the Environmental Promotion Plans (PIMA), whose objective is to promote actions in favor of improving the environment and the integration of environmental quality policies with those of combating climate change, and through a specific line of financing for the implementation of the State Waste Framework Plan (PEMAR).
Local entities must submit to the Autonomous Community the documentation required by the bases with the minimum content described for the projects. The aid will be distributed territorially in favor of the Autonomous Communities and the items are 925,000 euros for projects of separate collection of biowaste, 1,600,190 euros for projects of domestic and community composting, 925,000 euros for projects of composting facilities, 150,000 euros for projects of used cooking oil and 271,000 euros for biogas projects.
The projects that fall within the financing must have been initiated with a date after January 1, 2019 and the deadline for its execution will be a maximum of 24 months from the date of the effective transfer of the financing.
The Vega Baja Sustainable Consortium echoes this call and encourages all local entities to participate in it. On the other hand, for any query, interested parties can contact the General Directorate of Environmental Quality through the email ‘firstname.lastname@example.org’.
