The Vega Baja Sustainable Consortium is going to launch the days of responsible consumption and waste management in the home called ‘Everything starts at home’. There will be two talks given by two graduates in Environmental Sciences and experts in the field, Tomás Milla Campillo and Pedro Berenguer Alberola.
The objective of the talks, which will be held in Dolores and Orihuela, is to encourage the participation of all the attendees in solving the problems associated with the consumption of resources and the generation of waste. That is to say, that they feel participant and as the title of the days ‘Everything starts at home’ indicates.
On March 26, a first day will be held at the Multicultural Center of Dolores, at San Antonio Street, nº2 at 6:00 p.m. The second talk will be in Orihuela on March 28 at the Auditorium of the Lonja, on Calle Aragón s / n at 18.00.
The talks are open and all those who wish may attend. It will also be presented to the Consortium, as an entity that manages the waste in the Vega Baja, and will address aspects such as the consumption of natural resources from the domestic sphere and the generation of waste. Based on proposals for sustainable consumption, it will address how to carry out proper waste management, from reducing generation to the importance of reuse and recycling.
In addition, experts will discuss the services that the Vega Baja Sustainable Consortium has launched to facilitate recycling and those that are projected as the network of fixed and mobile ecoparks.
